On Staffrm and linked Twitter account @staffrm there is an initiative at the moment called #teacherappaday which is the latest in a series of hashtags arising from the #teacher5aday wellbeing initiative and sharing of ideas, support and chat.
The lead this time is Gary Henderson (@garyhenderson18 on Twitter). It brought to mind that to be able to cope with the vast amount of apps out there it helps to share information with others.
At the GA conference 2015 I screenshot many of my app folders to form the display for the gasigict group’s stand. I said at I would write this up – unsurprisingly work demands cancelled that plan but I now I tend to start anappseries through the blog to explore a folder at a time, the apps included and how I have applied their use for generic and geographical tasks. I hope at this can be developed into a wider sharing of ideas between geographers and other teachers as exemplified on staffrm.
