Thinglink – an iApp review

Thinglink  is available on the Apple App Store. It provides an opportunity to annotate  images using internal hyperlinks to media resources – images and / or video. Geography presentations have moved from photo prints stuck onto a page and tracing paper overlays or arrows and handwritten text to use of online images placed in a document and annotated using arrow shapes and text boxes. This could be the next level and can be placed in school online resources or pupils can use themselves to develop links between process and landforms or places and human action. I am  going to share three examples I have put together. In a lesson on a device / computer screen resource linking makes an initial link clear to pupils / students / staff. They can develop and demonstrate their understanding by developing their own images http://www.thinglink.com/scene/421592123930836992
